The Clio Project Mission and Goals

The mission of The Clio Project is to use the power and reach of the Internet to make classroom-ready lessons on global women's history available at no cost to world history teachers and students.

The Clio Project goals are to:

  1. Create a women's history website that provides classroom-ready curriculum materials for secondary- to adult-level world history teachers and students.
  2. Involve world history teachers and students in evaluating the curriculum and designing women's history lessons for The Clio Project website.
  3. Build a sustainable organization by seeking partners and co-sponsoring institutions that allow for expansion, ongoing development, and maintenance of the site.

The Clio Project is a nonprofit organization approved by The Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) organization and incorporated by The State of Minnesota. Donations are tax deductible as charitable contributions.
